Botnia participates in the funding and planning of basic research performed by both KCL (the Finnish Pulp and Paper Research Institute) and STFI (the Swedish Pulp and Paper Research Institute). The findings and discoveries of the research are at Botnia’s disposal. Similarly, Botnia cooperates, for example, with CTP (Centre Technique du Papier) in France, technology vendors, the R&D organisations of its owner companies, as well as with universities and institutes of technologies.
