Forestal Oriental
The forestry company Forestal Oriental S.A. was formed by merger of Compañia Forestal Oriental S.A. (FOSA), which is a Uruguayn company founded in 1990 specialising in eucalyptus plantations and seedling production, and Tile Forestal, the third largest exporter of wood from Uruguay founded in 2003. Forestal Oriental is responsible for the wood raw material and its logistics to the mill and is targeted to continue its export business, as well.

Botnia S.A.
At the end of 2003, the company Botnia S.A. was set up and registered in Uruguay to implement the pulp mill project started in Uruguay spring 2005.

OOO Svir Timber
OOO Svir Timber is a wholly-owned Oy Metsä-Botnia Ab sawmilling subsidiary in Russia. Botnia's Svir Timber sawmill was completed at the turn of the year  2005-2006.

Silva Shipping
Oy Silva Shipping Ab is a company that is based in Kaskinen and entirely owned by Botnia. The company specialises in stowage, haulage, warehousing, and ship clearance.
